Are you thinking of taking a gap year, or a career break? Maybe you just want to improve your skiing or riding, or to embark on an adventure in the mountains? Perhaps you want to become a ski or a snowboard instructor? Whether you have 1 or 12 weeks to spare, our ski and snowboard improvement courses, holidays, instructor training programmes, and occasional adventure programmes may be just what you are looking for.

Powdertrip is a London (England) based company established and run by snowsport instructors and enthusiasts - in fact we are all career breakers who loved the mountain life so much, we never went back. We specialise in ski & snowboard instructor programmes, improvement courses, holidays and adventures. Our ethos is to combine the passion we have for our sport with an uncompromising commitment to quality.


PowderTrip - Why we're better 

Powdertrip is setting the standard. We work with small groups on the mountain (where our maximum group size is between 6 and 7) and, just as importantly, off the mountain - our participants are not lost among groups of 50 or 100. We and our coaches know and have time for each individual, and every client is important to us.

As part of a rigorous selection process, we make sure that we know our resorts, accommodators, and the ski schools that we use very well. Every aspect of our courses and programmes is included (or excluded) for a reason. Our aim is to provide the highest quality at a competitive price.

We appreciate and encourage feedback from existing and potential clients. By responding to such feedback, for example by including gourmet food and 1:1 coaching on our instructor training programmes, and by adding chalet accommodation to our Fernie programme, we are able to give you what you want, and to continue to set the standard.

Instructor Career Advice

For attendees of our instructor training programmes,we believe in providing a service beyond our eleven week course duration. If you are looking to move into a career in ski or snowboard instruction, we provide a careers guidance service from real professionals, enabling you to access their experience at any time. We also have an arrangement in Europe for our newly qualified instructors to have the chance of obtaining valuable work experience following completion of our Kicking Horse course.
